Machine Learning Engineer

Our industry-leading financial services client is currently sourcing for a Machine Learning Engineer in Boston, MA, Merrimack, NH or Smithfield, RI! You will be part of the platform team responsible for the creation and support of the Cognitive Computing Platform. This platform allows customers to interact with the client in natural language across all the channels that are important to them. Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $65 - $75 / hr. w2 Responsibilities Setting architecture direction of omni-channel experiences using novel technologies Implementing scalable and differentiated solutions on a scrum team benefiting multiple business units Working across an empowered and autonomous organization to get the best outcomes Promoting a developer culture of quality / sustainability through automation Coaching team members to achieve organizational goals Experience Requirements Demonstrated hands on Experience with the following is required, as well as leading teams implementing: Software development and delivery cycle Architecting large scale systems Experience in Cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP NodeJS or Python REST APIs An established track record performing applied research in one or more of the following areas: Building and evaluating Natural Language Processing related Machine Learning Models MLOps in automating Machine Learning Model services refreshing cycle Integrating Machine Learning Model services with existing runtime conversation handling system Your ability to lead teams from conception to production Your ability and desire to learn new technologies Your ability to synthesize business need into scalable technology solutions Your ability to work across organizations and preserve good outcomes Your desire and aptitude for learning new technology and approaches Your ability to operate in a polyglot development environment Your excellent verbal and written communication skills Education Requirements Education background (Bachelor degree or above) in Computer Science / Data Science related field 5+ years working in financial service industry focused on IT solutions Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure etc.) Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
