Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the required standards and specifications through thorough inspections and testing. This role is crucial for maintaining our certifications and delivering high-quality products to our customers. Responsibilities Assist with the implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9001 program. Organize and maintain inspection logs and sample retention in accordance with AAMA and VSI requirements. Perform physical testing required to maintain certifications and record results per ASTM 7793 and ASTM 4726. Manage the Non-Conformance Material (NCM) process for internal and external customer returns. Maintain the calibration system for all devices, gages, and instruments during your shift. Conduct random product audits, including Safety, QC Inspection, SOP audits, and 5S. Communicate non-conformances identified during production audits. Train operators and technicians on test methods and AMI standards. Function as a Production Supervisor occasionally, after one year of service. Essential Skills Experience in quality assurance and inspection. Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. Ability to use an optical comparator and lab equipment. Strong documentation skills. Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office. High School Diploma or GED. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with ISO 9001 standards. Knowledge of AAMA and VSI requirements. Familiarity with ASTM 7793 and ASTM 4726 standards. Why Work Here?
