Job Overview:

The Controller, reporting directly to the CFO, will have full responsibility for guiding and managing all financial functions, encompassing accounting operations, financial reporting, planning, and analysis. This position is pivotal in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization and ensuring compliance with applicable financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities. Produce monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports for executive leadership and key external partners. Lead cost accounting efforts to refine costing methods and boost profitability. Work closely with the operations and supply chain teams to control logistics expenses and streamline inventory processes. Create and manage annual budgets and forecasts, aligning financial plans with strategic objectives. Ensure adherence to all financial regulations, including local, national, and international standards. Develop and uphold internal controls to protect assets and maintain the accuracy of financial records. Coordinate annual audits, collaborating with external auditors to ensure timely and successful completion. Track cash flow and financial performance metrics, recommending enhancements as needed. Conduct in-depth financial analyses to support data-driven decision-making. Oversee and support the finance team, fostering a culture of integrity, collaboration, and growth. Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA designation is preferred. At least 12 years of progressive financial management experience, ideally within manufacturing or related fields. Strong grasp of accounting standards and best practices. Prior experience in public accounting is strongly preferred. Proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis. Proficiency with ERP and financial management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. Clear and effective communication skills, able to convey financial data to diverse stakeholders. Experience within the manufacturing sector required; experience with a global manufacturing environment is a plus. Demonstrated leadership experience with a history of team development. Capable of handling a fast-paced, global role with multiple competing priorities. Background in international finance and foreign currency management is an asset.
