Johnson Lambert is currently seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join our growing firm. All roles offered at Johnson Lambert are offered in a hybrid format, with the opportunity to work with your team in person, should you be in close proximity to one of our 8 office locations, or have the flexibility to work from home in a remote setting.
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the Salesforce platform (including Certinia - formerly known as FinancialForce) to align with the firm's business objectives. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and business acumen to effectively design, implement, and support Salesforce solutions, integrations, and automation. The Salesforce Administrator will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide recommendations, and ensure optimal utilization of the platform's capabilities to improve user experience and achieve business goals. The Salesforce Administrator will report to the Chief Innovation Officer and work closely with the CFO, COO, and other key stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
Create and maintain users, roles, profiles, security settings, custom objects, and fields in Salesforce and Certinia. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, workflows, and other automation in Salesforce and Certinia. Develop and maintain integrations with other firm systems. Sandbox environment management, including proactive system maintenance. Evaluate implementation options and provide recommendations on scope and scale of effort required to develop a solution to fit business needs. Clearly convey the value of the recommended solution to business owners. Share knowledge and experience regarding the Salesforce platform and how it can be used to accomplish firm goals and improve user experience. Monitor and analyze Salesforce usage to ensure that the system is being used to its fullest potential by identifying unused or underutilized platform features. Develop, document, and maintain operational processes and procedures related to Salesforce. Provide technical support and training to end-users on Salesforce usage. Contribute to technical documentation. Participate in definition and refinement of team processes and activities. Collaborate with key business stakeholders and to understand and design solutions to achieve business objectives. Vendor (Salesforce-platform-specific) relationship management. Technical ownership of Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) and its integration with Salesforce. Application development, including Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components to extend Salesforce to support the firms' requirements. Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code. Maintaining and supporting appExchange Products as well as Salesforce Integrations. Help develop and implement best practices for data quality. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred. 3 - 5 years of expertise with Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Lightning Edition experience required) and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement preferred. Strong preference for experience with Certinia (formerly known as FinancialForce) Salesforce certifications preferred (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder). Stays current on Salesforce releases and potential updates that will help to improve the firm's systems. Ability to take ownership of projects and completing them per noted deadlines. Teamwork skills essential, with demonstrated success working with resources across the firm. Ability to instruct users spanning all levels on best practices and usage instructions. Ability to document, analyze processes, procedures, and policies. Understanding how and when to create custom objects vs. using Salesforce out-of- the-box functionality. Understanding of Salesforce design and development best practices, Apex Design. An understanding of the operations of professional service firms is preferred. Technical Requirements
Development experience on the Salesforce platform developing with Visual Force, Lightning Web Components, Java-script, Apex controllers, Apex Classes/Triggers Configurations, Workflow, Flows, Process Builders, Batch jobs & standard SFDC components. Experience building queries using SOQL or SOSL. Experience with Salesforce data loading tools (Data Loader, Coefficient). Experience with Salesforce development tools (ex.
