Could you be the full-time onsite Material Planner in Hornell, NY, US we're looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive supply chain and planning expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and collaborative teammates. You'll be instrumental in ensuring the seamless management of deliveries from suppliers, maintaining the right quality and timing to bolster our production line. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (such as Production, Maintenance, Sales, and Logistics), coordinate the production planning in our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in alignment with Project Planning - Master Production Scheduling (MPS), and much more.
We'll look to you for:
Ensuring material demand is accurately reflected in the ERP based on various planning needs, Calculating Material Net Requirements and forecasts in ERP (or alternative) based on the Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) process, Collaborating closely with suppliers on diverse projects to enhance supply chain efficiency, Strategically deploying planning and inventory strategies considering parts typology and demand inputs, Creating and maintaining accurate material master data within the ERP system, Leveraging your problem-solving skills to offer out-of-the-box solutions and resolutions, Utilizing your excellent communication skills to interact effectively with domestic and international suppliers. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, Experience or understanding of supply chain planning and logistics, Knowledge of ERP systems and material requirements planning (MRP) is a plus, Familiarity with production planning and inventory management strategies, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to offer innovative solutions and ideas, Certification in Supply Chain or Inventory Management is a plus, but not required. Salary range:
$56,000-70,000$
