Pediatric Advance Practice Provider, Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit
Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital is looking for a dedicated Pediatric Advance Practice Provider, Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit to join the team. This role will be full-time role. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible.

Pediatric Advance Practice Provider, Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Job Responsibilities: [KS6] The PCICU is a 12-bed, dedicated Unit staffed by pediatric cardiac intensivists, specially trained nurses, respiratory therapists, clinical pharmacist, nutritionist, child life specialists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, case managers and social workers. The APP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat cardiac medical patients as well as pre- and post-operative/catheterization cardiac patients, under the direction of the pediatric cardiac intensivist. Central to the role, the APP will assist in developing and implementing plans of care for all patients in the PCICU and participate in protocol/guideline development. The APP functions in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary cardiac team, while also providing consultation and education to patients and their families.

Full Time (flexible schedule, 12-hour shifts, days, nights, weekends and holidays) Education:
Master's degree in Pediatric Advance Practice Provider studies from an accredited program Experience : Pediatric cardiac experience preferred Certification:
Acute Care Certification by Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. BLS/ACLS and PALS certification
