Certification Details BLS Florida State DOH License ARRT (CT) Job Details Unit Information: JFK Main – CT Tech (726) Location: JFK Main Address: 5301 South Congress Avenue, Atlantis, FL 33462 General Information: Number of Beds - 24; Number of Staff – 14; Type of staff: Radiologist, radiologist techs, Ultrasound Techs, MRI Techs, CT Techs; Day Shift – Director, Radiologist, 6-7 Techs; Night Shift – Charge RN, On-call team, 3-4 Techs, varies on volume; Patient Ratios – 1:1, 1:2, depending on stability of patient; Type of equipment – ALL GE Equipment, MRI Units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, fluoroscopy; EMR – Meditech; Call Requirements- yes 4-6 shifts a month (on off day) Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Typical procedures performed on unit(s): CT Scan, MRI, body scanner, X-Rays; Create pictures of bones, organs, tissues and combine to create accurate picture assessment Job Requirements Must have: ARRT (CT), BLS & Florida State DOH License Additional Details Best personality Fit: Communications skills, medical and anatomical skills, mechanical aptitude; Ability to multi-task, work with variety of physicians, radiologists, patients Dress Code: Scrub Color – black must provide their own Awards/Recognition: 472 bed acute care medical/surgical facility and healthcare complex specializing in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology services, orthopedics and bariatrics as well as Women’s Services; JFK MC is also a Teaching Facility and ranks among the best in the nation
