Washington, DC, USA Our federal client is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to manage the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipeline and provide operational support for critical cloud-hosted systems. Youwill work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of a large-scale cloud environment. This position focuses on enhancing system performance, optimizing automation, and ensuring compliance with federal IT security standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain and enhance the CI/CD pipeline using tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Docker. Ensure seamless and efficient deployment of applications within the cloud environment. Monitor system logs, performance, and error metrics to maintain system readiness. Resolve production issues, including implementing hotfix deployments as needed. Implement and maintain automation scripts for system provisioning, configuration, and monitoring. Support infrastructure-as-code (IaC) initiatives using tools like Terraform. Monitor security logs, apply patches, and ensure compliance with IT security directives and NIST SP 800-53 standards. Manage encryption keys and secure data handling within AWS Key Management System (KMS). Collaborate with contractors, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure compatibility and smooth integration of new systems. Provide technical support to end users of the CI/CD environment. Maintain up-to-date documentation on CI/CD operations, configurations, and procedures. KEY REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or a related role. Proven track record of managing CI/CD pipelines and cloud-hosted systems. Proficiency in Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Git, GitLab, and Terraform. Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure automation. Experience monitoring system performance and applying security best practices. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident with at least three years of continuous residency in the United States. Ability to pass a federal background check. Why work with us?
