Month-End Close and Reconciliation : Manage month-end close schedules across multiple departments. Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and financial data. Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies. Financial Reporting and Analysis : Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies. Summarize financial variances and prepare internal management reports. Audit and Budget Support : Coordinate and prepare year-end audit schedules and deliverables. Develop and monitor budgets, providing forecasts and variance analyses. Team Leadership and Collaboration : Mentor and guide staff accountants to enhance team efficiency. Partner with departments to deliver financial insights and support. Process Improvement and Systems Management : Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process enhancements. Audit methods to improve efficiency in month-end close and reporting. Support and implement accounting systems and workflows. General Accounting Duties : Address errors, handle inquiries, and provide timely resolutions. Participate in specialized projects as needed. Qualifications for the Senior Accountant

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of three years of relevant accounting experience. Proficiency with accounting principles and Microsoft Office applications. Experience with nonprofit accounting is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
