This position requires a specialized knowledge of university policies and systems essential to curricular management and student services such as registration, class schedules, course catalog, and grade reporting. This position monitors students progress towards degree and provides strategic input to faculty leadership regarding both the undergraduate and graduate programs. Duties & Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities Provides program leadership as liaison with campus units, faculty and community partners, ensuring alignment with strategies and policy Routinely provides strategic input for the Director of Undergraduate Studies, drawing on in-depth expertise of University policies and systems that govern undergraduate program administration Oversees graduate recruitment, admissions, compliance, and student progress using specialized knowledge of GradApp and GradPath systems Provides assistance and guidance to students as needed in all aspects of student services. Provides strategic input to the Director of Graduate Studies utilizing expertise on Graduate College policies and procedures to consider strategically how these are shaping management of the graduate program or the development of new programs. Uses knowledge of and experience with other colleges and units across the University to develop strategic initiatives related to undergraduate and graduate programs. Leads lower-level staff in supporting curriculum, enrollment and classroom scheduling duties. Administers programs to support graduate and undergraduate students throughout their experience in the School / College Provide programmatic and strategic assistance to Directors for strategic planning, including 2-year course plans and general education proposals. Supports graduate program orientation and registration. Manage communications regarding insurance, funding, international student tax withholdings, and travel awards. Manage graduate funding, assistantships, scholarships, fellowships and placeholders. Support international students with visa requirements, tax issues, and insurance guidance Maintains graduate student records, progress towards degree data, and generate offer letters Collaborate with Admissions Specialists and Degree Auditors for smooth processing. Manages course schedules across various modalities and terms; maintains and update course catalogs, room reservations, enrollment data and course modifications. Utilizes University systems department tools with proficiency Submits and manages proposals for new academic programs and certificates. Maintains departmental curriculum and enrollment files, course syllabi records and course evaluations. Collaborate with business office on the SBS Temporary Teaching budget report Coordinate departmental scholarships and award SBS scholarship funding. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required. Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
