Hiring for an Interior Designer/Architect to support a Luxury International Hospitality Projects
Job Description
This position focuses on designing the interior spaces of an international luxury boutique hotel. The primary design tools used will be Rhino and Revit. The role involves drafting and 3D modeling, working closely with the principal and one other architect.
Projects:
Projects include amenity spaces, shops (400-700 sq ft)
Restaurants (1000+ sq ft)
50 guest rooms for a 5-star hotel.
Responsibilities
Meet with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Translate concepts and ideas into detailed designs.
Produce Design Development (DD) sets.
Create 3D models in Rhino or Revit.
Work on interior spaces including amenity spaces, shops, restaurants, and guest rooms.
Essential Skills
3+ years of experience in a similar role.
Experience with luxury projects (retail, hospitality, or residential preferred).
Proficiency in Rhino
Skills in AutoCAD, architectural design, interior architecture, and space planning.
Work Environment
The firm has a small team of 3 people.
The firm handles a variety of project types and has a history of award-winning design, including accolades from the Japan Display Design Association, Japan Sign Design Association, Japan Typography Association, New Office Promotion Association, Japan Facility Management Association, and Architizer A+ Awards.
Schedule
Remote on Mondays and Fridays, and in the office from Tuesday to Thursday.
Duration:
At least 3 months of work
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00
