Software Engineer, Graphics Specialist Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing and implementing advanced graphics solutions to create immersive VR experiences.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize real-time rendering techniques, enhance visual fidelity, and ensure smooth performance across various VR platforms.
Contribute to Meta Horizon OS by developing new graphics features to support immersive and high-fidelity VR experiences.
Optimize the graphics pipeline, system latency, conduct profiling, identify & remove system bottlenecks and ensure efficient resource utilization by VR system & applications.
Contribute to design, planning, implementation, and quality improvement of graphics for new VR devices.
Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Experience must include 3 years of experience in the following:
Graphics programming and development
C/C++ programming languages
Graphics APIs - OpenGL, Vulkan, DirectX or Metal
Shader programming languages HLSL or GLSL
Computer graphics principles, algorithms, and mathematical concepts
3D rendering techniques, including real-time rendering and ray tracing
Modern GPU architectures (including mobile platform) and optimization techniques and
Game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity) or graphics frameworks.
Public Compensation:
$258,524/year to $290,180/year + bonus + equity + benefits
