Construction Superintendent - Multifamily

As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of on-site construction activities. You will collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and workers to deliver exceptional results while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Our team is seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site operations and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Description

• Oversee daily construction site operations, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers.
• Monitor construction progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
• Enforce site safety regulations and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
• Conduct quality control inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.
• Identify and resolve construction-related issues promptly.
• Maintain detailed project records, including schedules, daily reports, and material usage.
• Coordinate material deliveries and ensure proper inventory management.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment among team members and subcontractors.

Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience as a superintendent in construction, preferably in commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore) and MS Office Suite.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Buffalo, NY.
