In conjunction with the Houston Methodist Academic Institute and the Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group, the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (OTO-HNS) supports our own ACGME accredited residency program in OTO-HNS, but also train residents from UTMB Health and UT Houston Medical School, and the medical students at Texas A&M College of Medicine. We are searching for an individual who possesses outstanding clinical acumen, surgical skill, research interest, a record of academic accomplishments and a dedication to education to join our faculty. This combination of clinical service, research and academics ensures patients have access to the latest in treatments and technologies while providing the best in comprehensive patient care. We currently have the following positions available at Houston Methodist:
- General Otolaryngology - The Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Houston Methodist is seeking General Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (OTO-HNS) physicians for our regional hospital locations throughout the greater Houston area. Candidates should be Board Certified/Board Eligible from the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, have a Texas medical license, or in the process of obtaining one.
- Otolaryngology Head & Neck Oncologic and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgeon - The Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at the Houston Methodist Academic Institute is currently conducting a national search for an assistant, associate, or full professor in the Division of Head and Neck Surgery to join our four fellowship trained head and neck cancer and microvascular reconstruction faculty. Candidates must have completed an Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery residency along with a fellowship in Head & Neck Oncologic Surgery and Microvascular Reconstruction. Candidates also need to be ABOHNS certified or eligible.
- Otolaryngology Sleep Surgeon - The Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at the Houston Methodist Academic Institute is currently conducting a national search for an assistant, associate, or full professor in the Division of Sleep Surgery to join our faculty. Candidates must have completed an Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery residency along with a fellowship in Sleep Surgery. Candidates also need to be ABOHNS certified or eligible and be interested in clinical research in this field.
