Job Summary:
A leading FAANG company is seeking a Data Engineer. This role involves the development and support of a data lake, data services, and ensuring data accessibility for analytics and reporting. The ideal candidate will contribute to designing and implementing platforms for reporting tools and managing metadata, working closely with business customers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development of a data lake and supportive data services. Develop and support analytic technologies for flexible, timely, and structured data access. Design and implement platforms using both third-party and in-house reporting tools. Model metadata, manage data warehousing, and build ETL pipelines. Work with business customers to understand their requirements and implement data solutions to support analytical and reporting needs.
Must-Have Skills:
3+ years of data engineering experience 2+ years of experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions Strong Python coding skills and in-depth knowledge and experience with SQL.
