Job Summary:Adecco is currently hiring for a Material Handler in the Clifton, NJ area. This is a multifunctional position that involves plant floor material movement, building-to-building material transfer, and local over-the-road pick-ups and deliveries.Location: Clifton, NJ Key Responsibilities:Material Handling: Safely move materials within factory warehouse and production areas.Inventory Control: Weigh rolls of materials before and after use and provide accurate material consumption and inventory balance updates to the Warehouse Manager.Truck Loading & Unloading: Efficiently load and unload trucks, ensuring safety and timely processes.Transport Duties: Drive company-owned and leased trucks for local deliveries and transfers between buildings, including transporting hazardous materials (Hazmat).Safety Reporting: Immediately report safety or equipment issues to the Warehouse Manager. Qualifications & Requirements:CDL with Hazmat Endorsement: Must have a Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) with a Hazmat endorsement.Forklift Certification: Must be able to pass an accredited safe forklift driver training program.Material Handling Experience: Basic knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures.Work Environment: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Overtime: Willingness to work overtime when requested. Additional Skills:Safety Minded: Ability to follow strict safety protocols and report hazards.Attention to Detail: Strong attention to accuracy in material handling and reporting.
