The Senior Financial Analyst of Ad Sales is responsible for ad sales revenue projections, financial modeling, and analyses of NBC Universal’s Cable Entertainment networks. This role provides the unique opportunity to gain a fundamental understanding of Ad Sales by partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Planning, Planning, Research, Programming, and Finance teams.

Responsibilities

Own ad sales revenue financial models for the Entertainment & Lifestyle Group throughout all key financial forecast cycles (Budget, Upfront, Annual Reforecasts), along with monthly pacing and weekly reporting.

Maintain day-to-day financial operations and monthly and quarterly financial close processes.

Conduct pricing/revenue analyses around KPIs (price, ratings, volume) to understand trends and variances.

Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Planning, Inventory, and Network operational teams to identify financial risks and/or opportunities for the Cable networks.

Finance support for revenue analyses, pricing scenarios, and other ad-hoc requests and deliverables.

Qualifications

Four-year degree (B.A., B.S.) in Finance, Accounting or a related field.

2+ years of experience in finance and/or revenue modeling.

Comprehensive understanding of and ability to interpret financial information.

Ability to perform in-depth, detailed analyses, while summarizing key takeaways.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Effectively communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders.

Detail-oriented and a critical thinker, possessing intellectual curiosity.

Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.

Robust interpersonal skills and a team player, willing to collaborate effectively.

Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative in challenging situations.

Aptitude to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
