ETL Developer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an ETL Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 month contract position. Responsibilities: Hands-on role that will develop and deliver solutions that enable the collection, transformation and management of information from one or more sources Integral part in migrating the data warehouse to re-platforming the ETL to Informatica Cloud IICS; the technical domain of the position includes Snowflake cloud data warehouse and the Data Integration, App & API Integration, Data Replication and Mass Ingestions services of Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services Data integration, data architecture, information delivery, infrastructure, testing, performance tuning for all components of the project Participate in ETL Design of new or changing mappings and workflows with the team and prepares technical specifications Create ETL Mappings, Mapplets, Workflows, Worklets using Informatica PowerCenter 10.x and prepare corresponding documentation Design and build integrations supporting standard data warehousing objects (type-2 dimensions, aggregations, star schema, etc.) Perform source system analysis as required Work with DBAs and Data Architects to plan and implement appropriate data partitioning strategy in Enterprise Data Warehouse Implement versioning of the ETL repository and supporting code as necessary Develop stored procedures, database triggers and SQL queries where needed Implement best practices and tunes SQL /queries for optimization Load and transform data from various external sources to Relational database using Informatica Work with complex transformations such as XML's, XML parser, Java and HTTP transformation and have designed SCD typ2 workflows Work with Informatica Data Quality (Analyst and Developer) Requirements: 5 - 7 years’ experience with Informatica PowerCenter 10.x, Oracle 11g/12c /19c SQL/PLSQL, Autosys Able to handle end-to-end Data Warehouse and Data Integration by taking into consideration the business cases, objectives and requirements Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
