Overview Our bank client is seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team in Houston. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of the organization, ensuring financial health, and driving business growth. This position requires a strong leader with extensive experience in corporate finance, risk management, and financial management. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial report interpretation. Must have experience in mergers and acquisitions of banks. The Bank is open to remote or hybrid work. Duties Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives. Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Manage risk by identifying potential financial threats and implementing mitigation strategies. Lead mergers and acquisitions activities to support business expansion and growth initiatives. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Provide insightful business analysis to guide decision-making processes across departments. Supervise corporate accounting functions to maintain accurate financial records. Direct treasury management activities to optimize cash flow and investment strategies. Collaborate with other executives to drive overall business performance and operational efficiency. Requirements Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior financial leadership role. Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles and practices. Expertise in risk management strategies and their application within an organization. Demonstrated ability in mergers and acquisitions processes. Exceptional financial acumen with a track record of successful financial management. Proficient in business analysis techniques to support strategic planning. Strong understanding of corporate accounting practices and regulations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly. A degree in finance, accounting, or related field; an MBA or relevant certification is preferred.
