This position will be in our Avionics Integration Organization supporting Mission Systems IPT.This candidate will be the technical and schedule lead for the integrating, testing, and troubleshooting of software/hardware systems in complex IT systems.Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Solve technical challenges and/or resolve issues leveraging support from both engineering and field integration teamsPerform system checkout and acceptance testing leveraging support from field installation teamVerify all aspects of system integration have been completed, compile list of liens/deviations, and ensure system handoff is coordinated with sustainment teamSolicit requirements/expectations for build and establish execution planPrepare and present kickoff meetings to establish initial schedule, identify critical needs/deliverables, and coordinate with supporting organizationsPerform morning standup meeting with integration teamMaintain System Hardware and Software configurationProvide expert software, hardware, and system support to on-site end-users.Drive engineering deliverables: part procurement, drawings, configuration guides, installation guides, test procedures, and maintenance proceduresGenerate implementation instructions & present implementation plan to change board(s)Develop and maintain Microsoft PowerShell scripts, Bash and Python scripts, and Microsoft Group PoliciesDesign and implement VMware high-availability virtualized infrastructuresScript deployments of different operating systemsThe selected candidate will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment working closely with other engineers and technicians in a lab-like environment.  The candidate will be supporting a program where application of extensive technical expertise will be required to support a developing system.The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility.  There is no remote / hybrid / telework available for this position. This position requires the ability to travel up to 10% of the time for cross-team collaboration.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline with 3 years of related engineering experience.Demonstrated experience with Windows and Unix operating systemsDemonstrated experience with VMWareActive CompTIA Security+ CertificationActive in-Scope, DoD Top Secret clearance.Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP/PAR). This SAP/PAR must be obtained prior to commencement of employment and must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs. (Of note: SAP/PAR will be upgraded once selected candidate is in role. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
