FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Women's RTW brand is seeking a Financial Controller. The Controller will oversee the financial operations and reporting to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes. This role will partner closely with the COO, FP&A Manager, and other team members to provide leadership in accounting, budgeting, and financial strategy, supporting the company’s goals. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and oversee accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Maintain compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements. Monitor and manage company cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operations. Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with the FP&A Manager to prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial projections. Identify variances between actual results and forecasts, offering actionable insights. Accounting Operations: Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions. Oversee and ensure timely reconciliation of all accounts. Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets. Oversee Logistics and 3rd Party Warehouse. Compliance & Auditing: Prepare for and coordinate external audits, ensuring successful and efficient outcomes. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, filing deadlines, and any other statutory requirements. HR and Payroll: Process Weekly Payroll. New Hire Paychex Set Up Process. Promotion / Bonus Letters. Employee Time/Off Management. Supervise accounting staff. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strategy. Serve as a strategic advisor to the FP&A Manager on financial planning and policy. Systems & Processes: Continuously evaluate and improve accounting systems, processes, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy. Work closely with IT to ensure systems are scalable and secure.
