The Director of Revenue Management at Emory Healthcare plays a vital leadership role in managing and optimizing the revenue cycle across the organization. This position is responsible for partnering with all stakeholders, including physicians, section administrators, and clinical departments, to ensure effective revenue cycle performance. The Director will lead initiatives that enhance revenue generation, improve collections, and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations. By fostering a collaborative environment, the Director will drive the integration of revenue cycle functions, ensuring that best practices are consistently applied throughout the organization. As the leader of the Revenue Optimization Team, the Director of Revenue Management ensures the team analyzes revenue cycle performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and implements strategic initiatives that are aligned with organizational goals. The Director will also oversee the development of financial projections and business cases based on revenue cycle data, guiding decision-making processes. Additionally, this position includes mentoring and developing revenue cycle staff, establishing performance standards, and addressing any operational challenges that arise.By continuously monitoring compliance and advocating for process improvements, the Director of Revenue Management will significantly contribute to the financial health and operational success of Emory Healthcare revenue cycle initiatives, ultimately enhancing the patient experience and organizational efficiency. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, health administration, or related field. Master's degree or equivalent graduate work preferred. Four (6) years management experience in physician group practice including multi-site group management preferably in both the shared service and clinical department environments. Demonstrated understanding in how to manage resources across an organization to make an enterprise-wide impact. Additional Details
