This role will be charged with providing timely and accurate financial information and reports from the general ledger through review of data accumulated in the financial system, and dissemination of this data to appropriate management personnel. JOB EXPECTATIONS Timely and accurate completion of assigned general accounting month end close functions through preparation of journal entries, accruals and monthly financial statements. Monthly accounting for assigned foreign locations. Maintain accounting for leased assets in accordance with GAAP. Reconciliation and analysis of various general ledger accounts. Assist with setup and maintenance of the General Ledger. Monitor information flowing into the General Ledger from other systems. Review, investigate inquiries concerning general ledger accounts and other accounting matters, make recommendations or corrections as necessary. Completion of federally mandated census reports on a quarterly/yearly basis as needed. Essential role in the year-end financial audit and preliminary audit, prepare audit schedules, and address auditor requests. Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. Perform special projects or other job duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting 2-4 years of accounting experience Proficient Microsoft Excel knowledge Strong oral and written communication skills.
