Jun 13, 2022 Profile: The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for operationalizing the Health Solutions growth agenda to drive ambitious growth and margin improvement for the business. The COO must understand and help the business stay ahead of client experience needs by enabling data-driven insights and winning capabilities and platforms for Health Solutions, sourced both internally and externally. In this role, the leader is part of the HS leadership team and the ABS leadership team, connecting them to each other and across the firm. What the day will look like: Being a co-architect of the growth strategy for Health Solutions business. Operationalizing the growth agenda for Health Solutions with both a push and pull across regions and across practice areas. An ongoing understanding of client needs to enable retention and winning in the market. Redefining the client experience and monitoring impact along performance indicators. Driving innovation of capabilities and enabling partnerships to ensure Aon operationalizes, scales effectively and measures value on HS growth and performance. Defining and driving the HS transformation priorities to enable self-funding for growth. Partnering with other solution lines to bring the best of the firm around development of common platforms and partnerships for innovation, analytics, client and digital capabilities. Understanding business needs to help drive efficiency goals by connecting HS with the ABS scale agenda. Skills and Experience that lead to success: Extensive business knowledge and expertise within the health industry. Proven ability to lead large scale operations and experience in adapting to new environments. Passionate and entrepreneurial about leading and enabling change. Deep understanding of local context, trends and macroeconomic factors. Experience working in a heavily global matrixed environment, strong collaboration, relationship-building and influencing skills with diverse stakeholders across multiple solutions and geographies. Future focus to lay out the vision and plan to identify capacity to enable colleagues to spend more time with clients. Commercial acumen to deliver return on investment, making appropriate trade-offs in the allocation of resources. Strong leadership and motivational skills; builds inclusive and diverse teams. Education:
