About The Position

Silk is seeking a highly motivated, growth-focused, and results-driven Product Marketing Manager. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be the go-to-market expert on our product, competition and customers. Your role involves conducting market analysis to understand trends and customer needs, refining product positioning, and crafting high-quality marketing materials. In this role, you'll translate complex technical concepts into compelling, easy-to-understand narratives. You'll clearly communicate the benefits and technical differentiators of Silk, empowering the company with the tools we need to succeed. You'll thrive in our collaborative, open-communication environment, creating strategies that amplify our market presence and accelerate product adoption. How you will make an impact: Messaging and Positioning: Create and maintain the source of truth for how we position and message our products. Persona and ICP Development: Become the expert on your customers, including developing in-depth knowledge of our customers’ needs, buying motions, market landscape, and our competitive differentiators. Package up this knowledge into enablement assets to drive go-to-market success. Content Creation: Create customer-facing collateral and enable other content creation teams to create customer-facing collateral that can be used in sales conversations and demand generation campaigns, and internal-facing content for internal enablement. Demand Generation: Provide input to help prioritize Revenue Marketing campaigns. Provide positioning and messaging to inform content creation for demand generation campaigns. GTM Execution: Working with Marketing, Product and Sales Leadership, execute on our go-to-market strategy to drive revenue and product adoption. Create compelling materials to communicate go-to-market strategy, messaging, positioning, pricing, and packaging to both internal and external audiences. Product Launches: Quarterback the internal and external launches of new features and releases for your products. You will enjoy this role if: You have previous B2B enterprise software product experience and 5+ years working as a Product Marketing Manager with experience in database, storage, cloud or AI (2 of 4 preferred). You are passionate about collaboration, working seamlessly with the Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to drive unified strategies and ensure consistent messaging across all touchpoints. You thrive on leveraging data - both qualitative and quantitative - to shape and refine your marketing efforts. You can assess the effectiveness of initiatives and communicate insights to leadership, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making. You’re a natural storyteller and can translate trends and technical concepts into compelling narratives that highlight our products' strengths. Your clear and concise communication style ensures our messaging is straightforward, value-driven, and optimized across various channels, from sales materials to digital content. Deep customer empathy fuels your passion for understanding customer needs, challenges, and motivations, ensuring our marketing strategies resonate and deliver value. You excel at orchestrating GTM campaigns and content that captivate our target audience. Your project management skills are second to none, enabling you to meticulously plan and execute campaigns that achieve measurable success, backed by a robust strategy, competitive intelligence, and stellar content. You are happy to travel and also able to work in our Needham, MA office Tuesdays and Thursdays. How we will measure your success: Example Metrics may include, Leads/MQLs, opportunity creation, conversion rates (MQL to Opportunity), # Bookings; $ Bookings, Growth Rates.
