SaaS startup providing an AI-powered platform for customers to collaborate is looking for a Chief of Staff & Communications Lead to partner directly with the CEO. This is an exciting opportunity to join a 500-person organization recognized across multiple leaderboards for its culture and innovation, serving as a right-hand partner to the CEO. As a strategic partner, you'll craft internal and external communications while driving critical business initiatives. Someone who is a proven strategic communicator who can drive organizational efficiency, build key relationships across all levels and translate vision into measurable impact. You will also manage the CEO's Executive Assistant. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, ~3 days/week in-office with some quarterly travel required with the Executive. 220-240K+ DOE + equity, competitive benefits, 401k, flexible PTO, wellness & phone reimbursements, paid parking & more! Responsibilities: Drive the CEO's comprehensive communications strategy across internal and external channels, crafting high-impact content that authentically reflects the Executive and organization. Develop compelling thought leadership content including articles, keynote speeches, and social media narratives that establish the CEO's voice in legal technology. Lead internal communications initiatives including All Hands meetings and leadership updates, ensuring employees remain connected to and inspired by the company's mission. Partner with the CEO to identify, prioritize, and execute key strategic initiatives that drive company success. Serve as a trusted thought partner, providing data-driven recommendations and synthesizing critical information from across the organization. Manage CEO's priorities and time allocation in partnership with Executive Assistant, ensuring focus on highest-impact activities. Manage the CEO's Executive Assistant. Spearhead the CEO's external engagement strategy, including media appearances, speaking opportunities, and industry events. Develop comprehensive briefing materials and talking points that maximize the impact of each external engagement. Build and maintain the CEO's social media presence to strengthen connections with employees, customers, and industry leaders. Lead cross-functional strategic projects from conception to completion. Drive accountability by tracking key decisions, action items, and deliverables. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure aligned execution of CEO initiatives. Qualifications: Previous experience as a strategic Executive Assistant, Operations, or similar role for a high-level Executive. Ideally have experience in Comms, English, or Writing. Exceptional writing and editing abilities with a track record of translating complex ideas into compelling narratives. Experience in crafting executive communications across formats including investor presentations, internal memos, and public-facing content. Demonstrated success in developing and executing communications strategies that advance organizational goals. Ability to manage multiple projects, keep timelines on track, and quickly adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Strong track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced environments. Proven ability to build trust and rapport with C-suite executives, serving as a strategic thought partner. Experience preparing senior executives for high-stakes communications including media appearances, board presentations, and industry keynotes. Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple competing demands. Demonstrated success in implementing and optimizing executive operations and workflows. Handle sensitive information with complete discretion.
