UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND DEPARTMENT OF PATHOLOGY UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND BALTIMORE SCHOOL OF MEDICINE Full-time Pathologist Position – Clinical Director of Data Analytics and Informatics The University of Maryland Department of Pathology seeks an Assistant Professor/Associate Professor level faculty position to serve as Clinical Director of Data Analytics and Informatics. The successful candidate will have a faculty appointment in the Department of Pathology of the University of Maryland School of Medicine at academic levels to be determined by experience. The position would primarily focus on analysis and optimization of send-out testing, inpatient testing utilization (supporting the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) Laboratory Stewardship Committee), and opportunities for workflow optimization of laboratory practice at UMMC. The individual would also serve as Medical Director of the UMMC Send-out testing area. Minimum Qualifications: Board certification or Board eligibility in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology is required. Training and/or experience in Chemistry and Clinical Informatics including lab analytics, digital pathology, enterprise informatics management, Epic EHR and Beaker Anatomic and Clinical Pathology are preferred.
