Growing Market Research Supplier based in Los Angeles is looking to expand by adding new consumer-based clients. The company is looking for a dedicated seller that can drive compelling results into new product categories, new verticals of existing clients, and new logos. The role will be supported by a dedicated marketing manager to assist in developing the marketing content to support the selling efforts. The Senior Vice President, Business Development will be responsible for generating new revenue and executing new business sales strategies, with a primary focus on clients outside of the media and entertainment industry. This role can be hybrid or remote. Responsibilities

Meet established annual sales goal. Focus on clients outside of the media and entertainment space. Build an understanding of the capabilities that exist within the company identifying the most actionable new business opportunities. Build and execute a prioritized plan to pursue setting meetings and building a pipeline of opportunities. Involve executive management and practice leaders as appropriate to qualify, scope, close and deliver new projects. Ensure the CRM system accurately reflects the status of all personally generated sales opportunities, and that the volume of the weighted pipeline is adequate to achieve objectives. Working with internal support help to conceive and develop desired marketing materials to drive sales opportunities and leads. Provide ideas and input into future opportunities on which the firm can capitalize. Requirements

7 years of consumer market research sales experience selling research-based consulting solutions. Proven, documented track record of consistently exceeding assigned quota/budget objectives. Experience utilizing complex sales methodologies. Proficiency utilizing a CRM to manage selling activity. Strong selling, negotiating, and influencing skills. A self-starter. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, strategic thinking, strong cognitive capability and analytical skills, detail orientation, high levels of intellectual curiosity. Bachelor’s degree minimum required from an accredited academic institution. Unencumbered by an enforceable non-compete agreement with current employer.
