Profile: The AVP, Business Technology Solutions Implementation will oversee various system programs of a highly complex nature to deliver new technological solutions to meet business needs within a specified scope while aligned to enterprise objectives. They will provide oversight as to the interdependencies and integration of interrelated projects, set strategies, and lead program execution to deliver longer-term business value. Actively manages stakeholder partnerships and mitigates risks. Ensures the accurate and timely gathering and documentation of business system and functional requirements, influences system design to optimize support, and ensures solutions meet the business objectives and requirements. Provides direction over the implementation of design and requirements, testing, operational readiness, and transition to the appropriate production support team. This role will oversee a cross-functional/cross-department team, the Genesis Program Office (GPO), which consists of about 300 associates who have solid reporting lines to other areas but are key members of this project team. Project duration expected to be up to 24 months. Responsibilities: This is a highly visible position that will work closely with a wide range of cross-functional resources from across the company, including executive-level stakeholders. In partnership with them, you will define the near-term/long-term strategy for the platform, plan the appropriate technology investments to support that strategy, all while balancing costs with service delivery needs for a $75 million program. Implement technology roadmap by developing or acquiring business solutions from start to finish. Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of new and existing IT systems and services. Drive and enable a multi-disciplinary business solution delivery team delivering high-quality, on-time, and on-budget projects to deliver business capabilities. Provide leadership in the use of best practices in product development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and design for repeatability, usability, and testability. Remain current with industry and technology trends in the clinical/healthcare technology space as well as the future direction of associated technologies. Lead dynamically-created teams on long-term strategic planning assignments. Decisions may affect line of business and market penetration, and errors may cause loss of revenue or substantial expense to business. Develop and/or evolve solutions development guidelines to improve consistency across products and adherence to established architecture and enterprise standards. Develop, share, and leverage best practices of development and implementation. Key Candidate Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. 10 years of progressive experience leading continuous improvement efforts, evaluating existing systems, and implementing process improvements. 8+ years large scale system migration experience. Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences. Program Management: Big 4 consulting (e.g., Deloitte, Accenture) running large program implementations spanning multiple years. Experience in $50M program delivery. Experience developing, managing, and delivering multi-year programs. Experience managing dependencies for 10 departments/technology platforms as part of delivery program. Extensive experience with disaggregated Payor platforms, including enrollment, claims, provider, eligibility, member, etc. Previous experience in large scale healthcare payor platform upgrades/migrations/implementations. Experience with large scale historical data migrations/mapping/reporting between multiple platforms. Ability to rationalize and streamline operational processes to optimize native system capabilities during technology modernization. Medicare experience/knowledge of the Florida market is helpful. Experience with CRM, CAS, CI, HRCM, CGX, HRP is helpful. Experience leading large multi-year business transformation work (including people, process, and technology transformation). Change management experience leading large multi-department change initiatives with a track record of bringing teams together and inspiring them to achieve aggressive/challenging outcomes. Demonstrated experience influencing leadership and outcomes within and outside the span of control and representing CarePlus for all business/operational impact decisions - driving effective consensus building and decision making.
