We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Tourism Specialist!
Dolphin Mall, one of Miami’s most iconic shopping centers, has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, independent, and driven Marketing & Tourism Specialist who will be responsible for assisting with strategy and execution of marketing and tourism programs for the shopping center. You will positively represent the center and the Marketing department to tenants, customers, partners, and vendors.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include…
Marketing:
In partnership with the Marketing & Sponsorship Director, execute marketing strategies that drive traffic and sales.
Annual Marketing Plan: In partnership with the Marketing & Sponsorship Director, assist in the development and lead the execution of the center’s annual strategic marketing and communications plan to positively impact the center’s traffic, sales, and market share. Budget Management: Partner with the Marketing & Sponsorship Director in overseeing the annual marketing budgets including allocating and tracking expenses. Events and Promotions: Manage the details of events and promotion implementation, including, but not limited to, the following areas: collateral, entertainment, tenant participation, digital presence, and vendor management. In-Center Collateral: Develop, supervise production, proofread, and edit all collateral materials. Tourism Programs: Develop and execute marketing programs for tourists including B2B relationship management, program management and collateral development. Creative Development: Work with corporate creative service department to develop all marketing and advertising materials for the shopping center. Social Media Program: Partner with the corporate team to oversee the center’s social media strategic execution, based on approved center and corporate strategies. Work with the Marketing Coordinator on the social content development including posting, moderation, and targeting. Influencer Program: Develop and execute an influencer program including budget management, contract negotiation/execution, monitoring fulfillment and relationship building. Email: Work with the corporate office and Marketing Coordinator to plan and oversee the strategic execution of the center’s email program, including content verification and localization, contributing to the content calendar, and driving email acquisition. Website: Work with Marketing Coordinator on ensuring up-to-date and comprehensive information on the center, tenants, and sponsors within the center’s website. Sponsorship: Partner with Marketing team members on the execution and fulfillment of sponsorship programs and mall media including execution of benefits, contract fulfillment and proof of posting tracking for both sponsors and media clients. General Administrative Duties:
Perform clerical duties as necessary, including, but not limited to: responding to tenant, sponsor and customer inquiries, filing, preparing correspondence and/or reports, maintaining databases, keeping schedules and calendars, setting up meetings, preparing meeting rooms, legal contract administration and other administrative duties as required. Retail experience is preferred Minimum of 3-5 years of marketing experience is preferred High School degree or equivalent is required Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communications or Marketing is required, or equivalent education and experience Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email programs Excellent writing and editing skills Excellent oral and written communications skills A high level of professionalism, flexibility and initiative Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy, the ability to prioritize and organize multiple projects, meet deadlines, problem-solve, and multi-task. Ability to collect and analyze information used to make sound decisions. Bilingual in English and Spanish Essential Physical Requirements/Working Environment…
