Dec 09, 2021 Profile: The Chief Information Officer - North America (NA – CIO) is accountable for delivery of critical initiatives that straddle across the global team, acts as a change agent, presents innovative ideas and delivers effective solutions to complex issues. The NA-CIO is the primary owner of the following: Development and deployment for NA regional applications. Leading a team of FTEs and third-party partners. Deployment of technology across NA region, including driving adoption of regional and global solutions. NA-CIO works closely with regional and solution line CIOs, infrastructure teams, enterprise architecture teams, and Platform teams to drive business outcomes for the region. This role will work closely with NA COO and other regional leaders to drive the growth agenda for the organization. This role can be located in Chicago, New York, or Virtual Chicago or New York regions. Reporting to:
Chief Information Officer Major Accountabilities: Application ownership for North America regional applications, including development and delivery of new products and features. Drive adoption and deployment of global solutions. Work closely with Platform team to drive regional requirements and deployment of global platforms. Overall health and hygiene of NA regional applications. Partner with regional leadership and COO to strengthen performance and drive impact. Participate in projects related to driving revenue growth or margin expansion. Perform a broad range of managerial activities related to colleagues, clients, markets - find opportunities for harmony, efficiency, and new critical initiatives. Monitor strategic activities to ensure goals and benchmarks are achieved. Drive global collaboration, including supporting prioritization and alignment with objectives. Lead technology teams (FTE and third-party partners), drive effective talent strategy and talent development. Maintain relationships with vendors and external partners. Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Attributes: 15 years of experience working in a matrixed, global organization. Strong technology competence. Experience leading diverse global teams. Strong initiative, organization, project management, and execution skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills. Ability to lead by influence and drive consensus among senior leaders as well as lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals. Strength in relationship building and network development across a large organization. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new environments and lead and inspire change. Strong work ethic and tenacity.
