We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your precision and attention to safety will ensure our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse. - Load and unload materials onto and off pallets, skids, or trucks. - Move goods to designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other equipment. - Stack and store merchandise in appropriate locations. - Ensure accurate inventory counts by performing cycle counts as required. - Maintain a clean and organized work area. - Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times. - Inspect forklifts and other warehouse equipment daily and report any defects or issues. - Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed, such as picking, packing, and shipping orders.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse environment. - Valid certification to operate a forklift (if required by state or local regulations). - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent communication skills. - Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects. - Knowledge of warehouse procedures and best practices. - Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
