This Accounting Manager role is based in Fort Worth, Texas, and the successful candidate will be a key player on our client's finance team, providing strategic solutions and maintaining the financial health of operations. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage various revenue systems to ensure accurate accrual and reporting

• Prepare and manage detailed revenue projections for use in forecasting and planning

• Provide guidance and solutions for complex issues related to revenue accruals and deductions

• Oversee the monthly closing of revenue financials, including extensive analysis and explanations for internal and external stakeholders

• Conduct SOX key control activities surrounding unearned revenue adjustments

• Analyze and provide support for revenue accounting’s compliance with ASC 606 Revenue from Contracts with Customers

• Develop strong partnerships with various stakeholders across the organization

• Work closely with external auditors on revenue-related audit items

• Proactively identify and implement process improvements in the revenue management system

• Maintain a well-organized office environment and manage daily operations efficiently.

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a public accounting or a Fortune 1000 corporation.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Auditing, ensuring compliance and financial accuracy.

• Proven experience in Revenue Accounting, managing and tracking company income.

• Ability to generate comprehensive Financial Reports, providing clear and accurate financial snapshots.

• Skilled in Accruals, accurately depicting earned revenues and incurred expenses.

• Experience with Revenue Forecasting, predicting future financial performance.

• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.

• Knowledge of SOX - Sarbanes-Oxley regulations, ensuring corporate compliance.

• Understanding of ASC 606 standards, specifically relating to revenue from contracts with customers.

• Proven ability in Process Improvement, optimizing operations for efficiency and quality.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidate highly preferred.
