Arete specializes in developing cutting-edge embedded and GUI software solutions for Navy sensor data acquisition, system control, and real-time data processing/post-processing. We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with experience in embedded and GUI software to support Navy sensor systems. This role involves designing, developing, and testing software solutions for sensor data acquisition, system control, and real-time data processing and post-processing.This is an exempt, non-supervisory, full-time position based in our Tucson, AZ office. Primary Responsibilities: Design and implement new features and bug fixes for Navy sensor systems. Perform testing using embedded processors, circuit boards, and related test equipment. Develop and present innovative software designs at customer meetings. Participate actively in scrum meetings and collaborate with a small software/hardware team. Demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage project components to meet tight deadlines. Other Requirements U.S. citizenship is required to meet position eligibility. Selected applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
