Schedule Weekly Hours: 16 The Heritage Unit is a great place to work to get acclimated to working as a CNA in the hospital or a great place for experienced CNAs to bring their knowledge. This unit is an 18-bed unit that provides care to medically stable patients as well as general medical-surgical patients. What you will do: * 0.4 FTE, 32hours bi-weekly * 8 hour day shifts (6:30am-3:00pm) and 4 and 8 hour PM shifts (2:30pm-7:00pm, 6:30pm-11:00pm, 2:30pm-11:00pm) * Every other weekend and three holidays per year * Care for a wide array of medical surgical patients with diagnosis such as CHF, COPD, cellulitis, weakness, infections as well as some medically stable patients What you will get: * Department with a strong teamwork model * Great entry place for the hospital experience * Gundersen's generous compensation and benefit package * Starting pay of $17.55/hour + more for experience! * 40-hour flex overtime computation. * Shift Differentials: PMs: $.75, Nights: $1.75, Weekends: $1.50 What you will need: * Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) * Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire To learn more about a career as a CNA, view this Day in the Life video.
