A large hospital is seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage. Central Illinois is full of hidden gems! Visit Beaver Dam State Park, and Fox Ridge State Park, or stroll around small towns including Quincy or Arcola! A Pediatric Anesthesiologist is needed to supervise CRNAs performing the full standard scope of practice, including NICU cases, caudals, peripheral nerve blocks, and epidurals, with a typical 1:4 ratio and an experienced peds CRNA team. The locum will also cover main OR cases when not handling pediatric cases. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with no call responsibilities. Candidates must be BC/BE MD/DO with ample case logs from the last two years, hold an active IL license (IMLC LOQ considered), CSR, and DEA, and have AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
