Bring passion and dedication to your job and there's no telling what you could accomplish The WatchOS QA team is seeking a QA Engineer to help us ensure that our Watch experience is rock-solid and customer-focused. We're looking for critical thinkers who would like to play a key role qualifying Communication Watch Apps and Safety features and the frameworks that support them. We practice nimble, fast-paced development that relies heavily on a tight relationship between Engineering and QA. As a member of our passionate group in WatchOS QA, you will have the unique and rewarding opportunity to shape and improve the software that allows our products to delight and inspire millions of Apple’s customers every day. Description In this position you will need to be self-motivated with strong technical and interpersonal skills. Day-to-day tasks will involve functional testing of iOS and watchOS applications, with a focus on the Messages app and related communication apps, sometimes across concurrent release vectors. Your responsibilities will include design and implementation of test plans and test cases, risk analysis, cross-functional testing coordination, and integration testing across the system. Minimum Qualifications BS in Computer Science or equivalent on-the-job experience in Software QA Key Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Passionate about Quality Assurance, Communication Technologies, and the Apple Ecosystem. An enthusiasm for customer-focused design, and high-quality technology. Passion for debugging difficult problems and driving results with multi-functional teams. Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail. Proven experience in Software Quality Assurance creating test plans for new products and features. At ease and adaptable in a dynamic and informal atmosphere. Excellent communication skills are a requirement due to the high level of interaction with engineering teams, management, and other organizations within Apple. Highly organized, creative, self-motivated, and passionate about achieving results. Education & Experience Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $92,500 and $178,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
