The Sr. Manager, Specialty Accounts will be responsible for developing and implementing the sell-in and sell-through strategy within their business portfolio, supporting continuous growth and expansion of the business. This role will partner closely with the broader Sales and Retail Marketing teams to drive results and increase brand awareness. The Sr. Manager, Specialty Accounts will focus on managing the relationship between specialty accounts and Distributor Accounts across NA.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain distributor and domestic account relationships.

Business portfolio includes (list may not be exhaustive) NA: Nordstrom, Credo, Goop, Revolve INTL: Mecca, Sephora Mexico Distributor: AO Independent (Boutiques) Subscription Boxes

Responsible for sell-in and sell-through of business portfolio Maintain and build on long term partnerships, successfully meeting distributors/accounts needs, aligning on budget, forecasts, sampling, support and plans. Consistently grow wholesale business and align with annual budget/plans Hold distributors accountable to contracts including wholesale shipments, new account openings, marketing spend, merchandising and overall P&L statements. Conduct regular check-ins with distributors to gather information needed for business continuity: feedback, testers, samples, collateral, brand guidelines, etc. Initiate, plan and execute biannual Market meetings for all accounts Speak with all accounts on a regular basis Forecasting & Sell Through

Partner with the planning team to provide forecasts, review volume opportunities as well as identify and communicate any changes to the market activity that would impact current forecasts Responsible for monitoring and reviewing wholesale POs for monthly plans, OOS, aligning to the forecast Sell-in new launches in a timely manner, as well as communicate stock status regularly Analyze and identify opportunities and/or problems in sales reports for individual distributors and accounts, highlighting underperforming and overperforming skus and best sellers, as well as keep or grow top brand and sku rank at retailers. Marketing

Partner with the sales team and product marketing to build and manage a sampling plan, budget and calendar Secure exposures and opportunities for new launches and core heroes, in adherence to business P&L Partner closely with the retail marketing team to execute any trade marketing opportunities within portfolio Retail Calendar, Events & Education

Ensure core and NPD remain a priority focus, including submitting NPF forms, samples, and presentations Ensure consistency across all accounts with Launch Dates, SRP and delivery dates Partner with retail and global education team to develop and deploy an education strategy in key markets Partnering with the education team to ensure proper materials are provided to all distributors and accounts as needed Execute biannual key market visits and recap learnings that inform overall business strategy 6-8 years of Sales/Account Management experience, preferably within wholesale accounts and distributors in the beauty/cosmetics industry Excellent communication and problem-solving skills (using various platforms - phone, teams, zoom, email etc.) as well as flexibility to cater to a diverse range of external and internal partners. Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work with diverse teams. Demonstrated success of building successful partnerships with retailers, as well as internal & external stakeholders Ability to pivot and maintain flexibility with integrity, to achieve results Energized in a fast-paced environment, while demonstrating ability to balance priorities Proficient in Office suite; experience in NetSuite a plus Ability to travel up to 25%
