Job Description - Surgical Oncologist Open Rank Academic Professor

Chattanooga, TN The University of Tennessee, College of Medicine at Chattanooga (UTCOM) is seeking applications for a board-certified surgical oncologist. This full-time position is for a non-tenured faculty appointment in the Department of Surgery at UTCOM with faculty rank commensurate with experience. Duties: Education of medical students/residents. Supervision of residents. Clinical practice of surgery. Duties assigned by the program director or chair. Basic Qualifications: Board-eligible/Board Certified. Commitment to providing quality clinical care, student/resident teaching, and research. Exceptional leadership qualities and achievements valued by colleagues at the local and/or state level.
