Program Director - Community Services Lowell/Merrimack Valley Salary Range:

$75,000 - $85,000/year

+ sign-on bonus

(half paid after 30 days of employment and the other half paid after 90 days of employment/pro-rated for part-time). Wayside Youth & Family Support Network's Lowell site is seeking a creative, energetic, and skillful Program Director to oversee the ongoing development and functioning of our robust Community Services Agency (CSA). The successful candidate for this position will join a team of managers overseeing all daily activities and staff at the site and help guide all activities at the program site to the next level.

What you will do: Oversee all aspects of programming in the CSA related to mission, quality, risk, financial, and strategic vision. Oversee hiring, training, and oversight of program staff of all levels. Supervise directly or ensure supervision of all staff. Oversee case assignments/assignment of program responsibilities to all program staff. Ensure adherence to all program specifications. Provide emergency coverage to program as needed. Represent the program and its elements to the community via speaking engagements, meetings, trainings, and other functions. Participate in internal agency committees, workgroups, and other cross-program/cross-component activities. Ensure all staff meet training requirements for position and ensure compliance with regulations as they apply to program contracts. Competencies/Strengths of our Superstars:

Demonstrates problem-solving & analytical skills (i.e. able to identify root cause of problems & provide effective solutions). Demonstrates ability to work with others (i.e. strong teamwork, can collaborate and coordinate care with other staff). Demonstrates flexibility and creative thinking (i.e. ability to adapt and adjust to changing work situations, processes, and procedures). The Program Director position requires a candidate to hold a Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field. An independent license is required. Driving in the community is a requirement of this position; please ensure you have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle. Qualified candidates will also have experience in program management. We Will Train You in:
