Feb 23, 2022 Profile: The Managing Director of Alternative Risk Transfer & Innovation will drive key broking strategies with a specific focus on Alternative Risk Transfer & Innovation. This individual must possess strong technical broking skills and communication skills to work closely with producers, account executives, broking leaders, office leaders, and carrier executives. The Managing Director will be an integral part of the Strategic Solutions & Innovation Practice, actively building out and scaling Aon capabilities by collaborating across various Aon groups. They will engage with insurance companies and other capital providers to bring innovative alternative risk transfer solutions to market. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required. MBA, FSAA, CPA, or CRMP preferred. Minimum of 10 years of broking, account management, and/or insurance experience required. Experience in enterprise risk finance, alternative risk transfer and/or captive solutions preferred. Demonstrated leadership and revenue growth success. Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide insight and recommendations. Ability to work in a complex matrix environment with functional, business, and geographic leaders. Responsibilities: Drive execution of the Alternative Risk Transfer strategic initiatives. Collaborate with Commercial Risk clients and Aon colleagues to develop new value-generating ideas and alternatives to traditional risk transfer approaches. Engage with AE’s and Brokers throughout the renewal process to uncover challenges that warrant consideration of an alternative risk transfer solution. Lead the execution of Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) transactions and implement processes to fulfill ongoing client delivery expectations. Collaborate on Alternative Risk Transfer solution development with insurers and other capital providers. Drive execution of Commercial Risk priorities including strategic solutions and innovation. Lead product innovation and coordinate strategic risk consulting recommendations. Cultivate relationships with Enterprise Client Group (ECG) clients and ECG account executives. Lead DAU processes through contributions to large RFP project responses. Lead an innovation agenda to identify opportunities to develop Aon-specific MGA’s and similar aggregation vehicles.
