USD 90k – 130k+, based on experience + sign-on bonus potential Role Overview: Our client in the U.S. is looking for a new Structural Project Engineer. This position calls for an innovative individual, eager to further develop their career and work on some of the best projects in the country! The role involves planning and executing design work for building structures, requiring expertise in engineering techniques and project types such as concrete, steel, masonry, and wood. The position requires collaboration with internal and external teams to deliver projects effectively. Project management responsibilities include scheduling, resource allocation, and financial performance oversight. This position combines technical expertise, leadership, and client-facing responsibilities to ensure the successful delivery of structural engineering projects. Our client has all the resources and tools to help you succeed. Key Responsibilities: Leadership: Participate in team meetings, technical discussions, and project presentations; Share project highlights during meetings; Participate and represent the company in industry and community organizations; Engage in the performance review process and provide constructive feedback. Client and Market Engagement: Understand and articulate client objectives and project deliverables; Foster trust-based client relationships through professional communication; Address scope, schedule, or issues promptly with clients; Always look to improve process efficiency. Project Management: Act as Project Manager when needed for small, low-risk projects, ensuring alignment with scope, fees, and client agreements; Communicate well with colleagues on the project, ensuring the team is well briefed on tasks; Develop resource plans to meet project timelines and budgets; Prepare additional service requests when needed and follow quality assurance protocols; Handle client communications as required and complete invoicing tasks monthly. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. 2 - 4 years of strong structural engineering experience. Expertise/Education
in seismic design. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including report writing. Proficiency in software: Intermediate MS Word, Advanced MS Excel, Advanced ETABS, SAP, and RISA (or equivalent). Solid understanding of structural design principles and problem-solving abilities. Team player with excellent time management skills and willingness to travel for projects.
