The Opportunity:
Bring your Microsoft Access expertise to this wonderful opportunity to support a unique customer mission. Your primary duty in this role will be to support three (3) customized Microsoft Access databases – varying in complexity from minor, to highly complex and customized. You will be responsible for all aspects of these databases to include: requirements gathering, development, maintenance, reporting, and enhancements both minor and complex including new functionality requests. You will also be responsible for data migration to and from these databases to other data repositories, including dispositioning the data and managing it appropriately. In this role you will have the opportunity to help shape how these databases will support future mission needs utilizing cloud technologies, at scale and the pace of the mission.
Additional responsibilities include, maintaining knowledge of online analytical processing (OLAP) tools. Developing data frameworks for data analysis to support end-user data discovery. Designing and developing data models that optimize analytical reporting performance. Developing data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading processes between transactional and analytical systems. Building reports, dashboards, and OLAP databases to support end-user reporting and information requirements. Performing statistical analyses on data and predictive forecasting. Analyzing and interpreting results using statistical techniques. Interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Responsibilities:
Identifying, collecting, assessing and decomposing requirements into documented product requirements that support design and development
Identifying timelines and development work schedules for delivery
Documenting the tools and processes supporting each databases’ use and operation
Research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new user requirements
Import or link of data to data stored in other applications and databases
Troubleshoot and address performance and ad-hoc operational problems
Perform feasibility analysis on potential future projects
Attend daily standup with customer leadership to provide daily status updates
Provide weekly updates on deliverables and accomplishments
Provide monthly updates on the schedule and performance.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience, or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree
Expertise in MS Access Database creation, maintenance, and operation
Expertise in formatting date for data visualization tools e.g., MS Power BI and Tableau
Microsoft 365 application expertise
Database management systems (DBMS) experience and expertise
Visual Basic for Applications expertise
TS/SCI CI Poly is required
Desired:
AWS/C2S cloud development experience
AWS Developer Certification and/or AWS DevOps Certification

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$78,700 - $165,300
