Security Engineer
to join our Cybersecurity team. In this role you will work as part of a professional capability responsible for the profitable management of cyber risk to FHR's business.
Our Team
As a
Security Engineer , you will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of technology from Operations Technology (OT) equipment in the field to modern cloud computing, and will partner with Plant Operations, Information Technology, and Commercial capabilities to protect the integrity of the systems and data critical to the operation of our business.
This role will be located at our
Wichita, KS
headquarters.
What You Will Do Inform Cyber policy development with the goal of profitably managing business risk and ensuring regulatory compliance Ensure reliable delivery of Cyber risk management work processes (ex. supply chain and data risk management assessments, CVE analysis, etc.) Perform security event monitoring, investigation, threat hunting, and incident response, leveraging industry leading Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) and cyber security tools Partner with IT and business capabilities in project execution and work process design with the objective of informing practical implementation of FHR's Cyber policy Participate in evaluation of the emerging technologies necessary to support FHR's Cyber vision and strategy Monitor and administer enterprise security platforms and tools Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Experience in communicating and leading discussions regarding technical solutions or problems Experience administering Windows and Linux server infrastructure Experience working with and securing endpoints Understanding of secure networking and perimeter infrastructure Understanding of database functionality and security Ability to participate in an on-call rotation providing 24/7 support for Cyber investigations Ability to travel up to 5% What Will Put You Ahead
Experience with major IaaS/PaaS providers (ex. AWS, Azure) Knowledge of Zero Trust theory and solutions Practical experience working in an enterprise Security Operations Center Practical experience with Cyber security monitoring and modern SIEM platforms Experience in process control and/or industrial environments Knowledge of industrial protocols, hardware, and architectures Knowledge of industrial best practices for securing IT systems Experience developing and implementing Security Programs, such as Data Protection, Vulnerability Management, Security Incident Response, Cloud Security, OT Security, PSIRT or other related security programs
