Position Summary Collaborates with QA leadership to understand QA vision, contributes towards establishing QA roadmap and works closely with project team in executing all phases of testing. Identifies automation opportunities and is responsible for implementation, development and maintenance of test Automation Framework architecture, working closely with Developers, product, & stakeholders in developing automated and functional test cases using qTest, Zypher or QTP/UFT, Selenium, Postman, Python, JMeter, Java, C#, EDI/ETL, RedGate, SSMS, Query Surge, Informatica, Load Test Tools. Runs nightly automation scripts across all front end and backend applications, analyzes the test results and reports defects. Responsible for collaboration with Product team to prioritize defects and works closely with developers in bringing it to closure. Develops and maintains the test automation framework and scripts based on defect fixes/enhancements using automation and test management tools. Tests accuracy and performance of database code changes by scheduling and running Datawarehouse nightly load and reports variances to the Development team. Identifies and generates test data for testing front end and backend changes. Responsible for end-to-end test execution of Web, Native, EDI/ETL and Data Warehouse tests within the Agile Scrum Team. Develops and maintains automated test cases based on Test Plans and feedback from Functional Testers & SDET Lead on critical application features. Responsible for implementing and resolving testing framework enhancements/issues. Performs functional, component level and performance testing of various front end, backend, and platform applications as needed. Collaborates with Infrastructure and IT Operations teams in testing Disaster Recovery and Platforming application projects. Provides mentorship to junior resources on the team and performs automation code reviews during automation script development phase. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in role executing all phases of SDLC, QA processes, and metrics in an Agile Framework. 3+ years of advanced SQL querying using Microsoft SQL Server or similar RDBMS tools. 3+ years developing test automation scripts in Python, C#, Java or similar programming language. 3+ years implementing test automation frameworks such as Selenium, QuerySurge, Ready-API, Postman, JMeter, GIT. 3+ years writing and maintaining test cases using management tools such as qTest, Zypher or QTP/UFT. Preferred Qualifications Test automation frameworks. Software development frameworks and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc). Advanced understanding of Relational Database Design (RDBMS). Good understanding of Web Application architecture. Skilled in: Healthcare or Insurance industry. Software application development in programming/scripting languages like Java, C#, Python, JavaScript and hands-on experience using automation tools like qTest, Zypher or QTP/UFT, Selenium, JMeter. Advanced SQL querying and optimization. Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server suite of tools such as Management Studio, Reporting Services and Integration Services. EDI/ETL experience (Informatica, Query Surge, Tosca BI). Ability To: Understand complex business rules involved in the administration of government programs. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships across functional units. Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $64,890.00 - $175,100.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
