LA Cha Cha Chá in Arts District neighborhood of downtown Los Angeles is looking for a Service Manager to join our team! Nestled on a tropical rooftop that oversees the LA skyline, we serve a family-style menu inspired by both traditional Mexican flavors and the innovative food culture of modern day Mexico City. We're a full-bar restaurant with a focus in Mexican liquors, beverages, and craft cocktails.
The Service Manager role is ideal for hospitality professionals with some leadership experience seeking to advance in management in the restaurant industry. Full availability required.
Overview:
Provide strong leadership to FOH departments under direction of Executive Management
Open and close service
Provide hospitable guest services to all guests
Collaborate with BOH managers to lead smooth daily service
Be an expert on our food and bar menus, keep up-to-date with seasonal menu changes and dietary restrictions for all menu items
Problem solve efficiently while adhering to company policies and county regulations, take ownership of every shift
FOH administrative duties such as updating time edits, menu updates, cash log maintenance, and onboarding
Qualifications:
2+ years in a managerial or leadership position in the restaurant industry
Valid Manager ServSafe certificate upon start date
Valid RBS/ABC certificate
Strong understanding of and interest in hospitality
Proficient with Microsoft programs and basic computer knowledge
Experience working with POS and reservation systems (Toast and OpenTable preferred)
Be comfortable with repetitive motions such as walking, bending and standing during your scheduled shift.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $68,000 - $75,000 depending on experience
