Integrated Foot and Ankle Specialists (IFAS) is a preeminent network of medical and surgical practices providing comprehensive lower extremity care in the Mid-Atlantic region. Led by esteemed podiatrists, IFAS provides a best-in-class continuum of care. Since its founding in 2022, IFAS has grown to 11 practices operating across 19 locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In addition to providing best-in-class care, IFAS is focused on significant growth through its acquisition pipeline and aims to triple in size in the next 24 months. SCOPE:
The Vice President Finance (“VP”) will report to the President and work closely with the Board of Directors to advance the IFAS platform. A key member of the leadership team, the successful candidate will work proactively and aggressively to enhance revenue, manage expenses, maximize profitability, implement accounting and reporting systems and standards, and drive M&A. An attractive compensation package reflecting the impact that the VP Finance is expected to have on the success of the organization will include base salary, target bonus and meaningful equity participation.
FOCUS:
The VP Finance will be expected to:
Implement GAAP healthcare accounting standards Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and efficient reporting systems Mergers and acquisition due diligence work streams, model add-ons, & support integrations post-close Develop and report on KPIs to support analysis of financial information related to operations Generate relevant reports/dashboards to enable decision making at all levels of management Manage IFAS’s treasury and build positive relationships with vendors & financing partners Tightly forecast and manage cash flow to meet operational requirements Oversee the RCM function in reporting of A/R and management of collections processes Foster confidence in IFAS externally and internally through leadership of finance function Support negotiation, archiving, and monitoring of various contractual agreements Oversee payroll and support financial aspects of HR Contribute to a technology strategy that supports scale and operational execution
EXPERIENCE:
A successful candidate will have a professional background that reflects:
10+ years of hands-on professional finance experience including operational finance, healthcare-based accounting, FP&A, cash management, and financial report preparation Experience managing a similarly sized, high-growth PE backed physician practice management platform A strong track record of assessing challenges, issuing data-based recommendations, and successfully overseeing execution of changes A proven ability to roll up sleeves and manage finance function in high-growth, fast-paced operating environments under tight deadlines Knowledge of the revenue cycle of a healthcare organization An undergraduate degree (MBA, Accounting, or Finance related advanced degree considered a plus) CPA certification or a strong GAAP accounting background Demonstrated excellence in people management, teamwork, and leadership
