QA Lead - UKG WFM Pro

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced QA Lead with expertise in UKG Workforce Management (WFM) Pro to lead functional testing efforts across various WFM modules. This includes areas such as Reporting, Scheduling, Employee Self-Service (ESS), Timekeeping, Attendance, Mobile, and Personas. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of UKG Dataview, Reports, and Data Hub, along with strong leadership, communication, and quality assurance skills. You will drive the testing process, ensuring that all systems meet business requirements and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Testing Leadership:
Lead the end-to-end functional testing of UKG WFM Pro modules (including Reporting, Scheduling, ESS, Timekeeping, Mobile, Attendance, and Personas) ensuring comprehensive coverage and alignment with business requirements.
Develop, execute, and manage detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate system functionality.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with QA teams, Product Managers (PdMs), Engineering, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure testing is aligned with business goals.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner.
UKG Expertise Application:
Leverage advanced knowledge of UKG Dataview, Reports, and Data Hub to validate data integrity, ensure accurate reporting, and assess system performance.
Ensure all reports and data outputs meet business compliance and operational requirements.
Quality Assurance Practices:
Establish and enforce QA best practices, including defect management, root cause analysis, and test environment management.
Monitor and report on testing progress, metrics, and outcomes to stakeholders.
Team Mentorship and Guidance:
Mentor and guide QA team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
Lead by example to ensure quality and efficiency in testing processes.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in QA roles, with at least 3 years as a QA Lead on projects involving UKG WFM Pro. Proficiency in UKG Dataview, Reports, and Data Hub. Experience with key WFM Pro modules, including Timekeeping, ESS, Attendance, and Personas. Hands-on experience with QA tools such as Test Assure, JIRA, Selenium, or equivalent automated test management tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and reporting. Proven ability to lead QA initiatives and effectively manage team dynamics. Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban). Knowledge of compliance requirements and industry standards related to HR, payroll, and workforce management. Experience in performance testing and automated testing is a plus.
Certifications (if any):
Relevant certifications in QA testing, such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or other related certifications, are a plus.
Certifications specific to UKG or similar workforce management platforms are highly desirable.
