Job description Job Title- LabVIEW Engineer Work Location- Pittsburgh, PA Work Mode- Onsite MUST HAVE: Experience in LabView 2020, 2023 versions, Teststand, National Instruments hardware Experience in design, development , simulation, and test automation applications using LABVIEW and teststand Proficient in electronics testing using lab equipment’s. Knowledge of Digital and analog electronics Excellent understanding of data flow, parallel programming, state flow diagrams Job Role and Responsibilities: Job requires working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers and Onsite Engineering in USA. Shall be able to coordinate the onsite customer product owner as well as the offshore teams Minimum 5 years experience in LabVIEW, Teststand, National Instruments hardware, debuggers, IDEs, Pickering instruments Experience in interfacing in different facets of electronics hardware, communication channels, interfacing COTS hardware with LabVIEW Experience using communication protocols RS232, RS485, Ethernet, MVB, USB, I2C, SPI etc Excellent understanding of data flow, parallel programming, state flow diagrams Experience in design, development , simulation and test automation applications using LABVIEW and teststand Experience in analysing and testing software applications using LabVIEW. Should be able to debug and make modifications to LabVIEW code to clear bugs Display a sound understanding of software development life-cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle. Knowledge on IEEE documentation standards Proficient in electronics testing using lab equipment’s. Knowledge of Digital and analog electronics. Should be able to read and interpret circuit diagrams (schematics and layouts). Should be able to debug the circuits using equipment like DMM, Scope, Function generator, logic analyser etc. candidate should have knowledge in test fixture or test cable design for interfacing with unit under test with relays and instrumentation . Knowledge on interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical adapters parts. Suggest changes as per project requirements. Candidate should be able to interpret schematics and circuit flow Basic idea on windows registries, setting up user profiles and MS office Participates in discussions and reviews of test plans, test procedures and software requirements and make changes as necessary Effective English written and oral communication skills are required. Candidate should be able to create LabVIEW and Tedtstand applications with minimal supervision and should be able to deliver bug free software in fast pace agile development environment. Should be able to create software in modular way. Good understanding and hands on work experience of good software programming practices and guidelines
