Responsibilities

3.0 Responsibilities:

3.1 Support the day to day activities of the QA Department and its employees.

3.2 Provide support to Engineering and Production, perform capability studies and gather statistical data for analysis, communicating same to relevant parties.

3.3 Prepare and implement quality procedures and work instructions regarding laboratory equipment.

3.4 Set up and prepare CQV protocol for required tool qualifications.

3.5 Maintain and review customer specifications, JDE specs and drawings.

3.6 Manage product audits, assist with quality system audits.

3.7 Provide support to Quality Technician.

3.8 Create and maintain product files, customer spec files, analyze data as necessary.

3.9 Work with all personnel to resolve customer or internal quality issues.

4.0 Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

4.1 Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in an Engineering discipline.

4.2 Three to five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment,

Certification from ASQ, CQE, CQT or GFCI knowledge (specifically SQF) preferred.

4.3 Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks

simultaneously.

4.4 Working knowledge of ISO, SPC, Six Sigma, FMEA, Excel, Minitab and team building.

4.5 Proven ability to lead employees in positive manner.

4.6 Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

4.7 Willingness to travel to support customer and supplier requirements.

4.8 Ability to wear required PPE (Steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection).

4.9 Ability to stand for prolonged periods, working in a manufacturing environment.

5.0 Ability to read, write and communicate effectively using the English language.

5.1 Ability to use multiple measuring tools, perform calculations and possess stronger than average mathematical skills.
